A Place At Home Revolutionizes Senior Care in Katy with Compassion and Community Connection
A Place At Home is ushering in a new age of compassionate senior care for the community. Co-owned by Arnold Barrera III and Rebecca Barrera, residents of Cinco Ranch, this local franchise opened its doors in October 2023 to provide personalized care to aging populations in the Katy area.
The Barreras, dedicated parents and grandparents, have always been motivated by the desire to serve. Rebecca, a Registered Nurse with over three decades of experience, was moved to establish this franchise after witnessing her own mother's struggle with independent living. Following an unfortunate fall at a senior community, Rebecca and her sisters had to reevaluate their mother's care. Rebecca realized the need for better information through the decision making process, sparking her desire to help others navigate senior care options and ultimately, opening A Place At Home in Katy.

In the spirit of community involvement, the Barreras recently joined the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce to share their services, network, and get more involved in the local community. On March 13, A Place at Home was honored with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officiated by the Katy Area Chamber.
