Cy-Hope Counseling Announces Summer 2024 Group Counseling Sessions for All Ages

Cy-Hope Counseling, a hub for mental health and wellness in Cypress, is gearing up for its Summer 2024 Group Counseling sessions. With a rich history of measurable support for the community spanning over a decade, these group sessions have grown into a beloved community staple, routinely drawing participants back each year for renewed experiences.

Offering an array of groups tailored to various age groups and needs, the sessions provide a cost-effective alternative to individual counseling, fostering positive connections and promoting personal growth.

All Feelings Allowed - Kindergarten to 2nd Grade

  • Begins July 9th, with a deposit of $50 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 6-week program is $300
  • Sessions focus on exploring, identifying and expressing emotions
  • Led by Abbey Kniffin, LPC
  • The aim is to foster social-emotional skills such as empathy and emotional regulation

Realizing and Regulating Emotions - 3rd to 5th Grade

  • Begins July 8th (Group A) and July 11th (Group B), with a deposit of $50 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 6-week program is $300
  • Sessions focus on building social and communication skills
  • Led by Danielle Mikeska-Garcia, LPC
  • The goal is to teach children effective ways to make friends, follow directions, listen actively, and regulate their emotions in various situations

Vibe Tribe Social Skills - Middle, High School

  • Begins July 9th (Middle School) and July 11th (High School), with a deposit of $30 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 6-week program is $180
  • Sessions focus on social skills, making friends, emotion regulation, and self-esteem
  • Led by Trisha Davis, LMFT-Associate
  • The program is ideal for ASD and ADHD but open to all

Artistic Resilience: Building Bonds through Creativity - Middle, High School

  • Both Middle and High School begin July 9th, with a deposit of $50 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 6-week program is $300
  • Sessions focus on self-discovery through diverse art mediums
  • Led by Sara Robertson, LPC
  • The goal is to help teens explore their artistic talents, build essential social skills and form meaningful connections with peers

Peers Supporting Peers - Middle School

  • Begins July 10th, with a deposit of $50 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 6-week program is $300
  • Sessions focus on managing stress, navigating emotions, and building resilience
  • Led by Kristy Schneider, LPC

#MomLife Moms

  • Begins July 9th, with a deposit of $30 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 4-week program is $180
  • Sessions focus on creating healthy boundaries, promoting self-awareness and growth, navigating motherhood together, and learning about self-care
  • Led by Brandy Brock, LMFT-Associate

Women’s Empowerment

  • Begins July 9th, with a deposit of $30 due at registration
  • The total cost of the 4-week program is $180
  • Sessions focus on boosting self-esteem, cultivating healthy relationships, identifying coping strategies, setting effective boundaries, and promoting self-worth
  • Led by Brandy Brock, LMFT-Associate

The unifying goal across all the group sessions is to provide a supportive environment for participants to learn, grow, and make connections. With fresh content and dynamic facilitators, Cy-Hope Counseling strives to make each year's experience unique and enriching.
