Women of Katy 2025 Symposium to Spotlight Progress Through Partnerships

March 24 2025

Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, women professionals and entrepreneurs across the Katy area are invited to the 2nd Annual Women of Katy 2025 Symposium, happening on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Alamo Drafthouse CinemaLaCenterra, located at 2707 Commercial Center Blvd., Ste. K-100, Katy, TX 77494. Hosted by the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, this highly anticipated women’s leadership event is expected to welcome 100–175 attendees, including local industry leaders and women-owned business owners.

Themed "Momentum: Progress Through Partnerships," the 2025 symposium will center on how women can strategically navigate change, leverage professional relationships, and build intentional partnerships that create lasting impact in both personal and professional development.

Attendees can expect a robust experience that blends inspiration with real-world resources. The event will feature opportunities to network with community leaders and professionals, offering a space for meaningful introductions and collaborative discussions. Participants will also gain access to valuable local business resources, equipping them with tools to help navigate entrepreneurship, career transitions, and leadership roles. The symposium’s momentum-driven presentations are designed to inspire personal and professional growth, while delivering actionable insights that attendees can implement immediately following the event.

“This event is about more than who you know—it’s about how you use those connections to propel your career or business forward,” said Stacy Jacobs, Vice President of Business Development for the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our theme, Momentum, is designed to challenge attendees to think differently about collaboration and purposeful growth.”

The Women of Katy Program is a year-round initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering women at every stage of their journey—whether launching a business, making a career change, or leveling up in leadership. Its mission is to provide a platform that inspires growth, encourages connection, and builds confidence through a mix of educational and community-based events.

“We want attendees to walk away feeling equipped and inspired to take action,” Jacobs added. “By creating space for meaningful dialogue and connection, we’re helping women across Katy align their goals with real-world partnerships that drive progress.”

The Women of Katy 2025 calendar includes a series of impactful quarterly events that build on the theme of momentum. It kicked off with a January 30 luncheon at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, followed by the April 30 symposium at Alamo Drafthouse. The next two events are scheduled for July 30 with SYNERGY at Venue 116, and October 30 for the annual SOIRÉE, with the location to be announced.

Funds raised through Women of Katy events support leadership programs and sponsorships that help elevate the voices and visions of women across the community.
