Summer is fast approaching, and that means swim season is just around the corner! The Willow Fork Gators Swim Team is gearing up for another exciting swim season, so get the scoop and get plugged in for a splash-tastic summer.
About Willow Fork Gators Swim Team
The Willow For Gators Swim Team focuses on TEAM and FAMILY — that goes for both the swimmers and the parents. It’s extraordinary to see swimmers of all ages helping each other stay safe, get stronger, and also cheering one another on. This is something unique to our team, and we are proud of it! Because our team is 100% volunteer run, the parents also work together as a team to coordinate the swim meets for our swimmers. Please note this customary in all leagues in our area. By the end of the summer, we are a Gator Family!
We swim at the Willow Fork Country Club, located at 21055 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77450.
Our VAST AGE RANGE makes us special! We welcome swimmers ages 4-18. Younger swimmers may participate in our non-competitive program where they master pool safety and learn swimming basics, while swimmers ages 4-18 participate (must be 4 by May 1st) in our competitive program where they master various strokes and participate in approximately 4 swim meets.
The season culminates at the end of June with the Meet of Champs and the All Star Meet where the fastest swimmers from WHALe are able to compete with one another.

Pre-Season Registration Info
Willow Fork Swim Team offers two team options:
The competitive division (ages 4 to 18) participates in scheduled swim meets. For this option, please select COMPETITIVE/STANDARD REGISTRATION and the fees will be calculated in a later section. Competitive swimmers that are not able to swim 25 Yards unassisted by May 15, will be moved to the Non Competitive group and families will be required to pay any required fee differences. YOUR CHILD MUST BE AT LEAST 4 YEARS OLD BY MAY 1, 2024 TO REGISTER FOR THE COMPETITIVE DIVISION.
The non-competitive division (ages 4 to 18) is optimal for newer swimmers who need a little extra attention in the water but still want to be part of the team. Our non-competitive division is open to all age groups, will have their own designated practice time, will receive a team t-shirt and a trophy at the end of year party, but will not participate in the scheduled swim meets.
Therefore, there are no volunteer requirements of parents in the non-competitive division. The program is capped at 18 swimmers, allowing extra time and attention to be given to participants by the coaches. The fee for non-competitive is higher to account for the individualized attention given to the swimmer.
For this option, please select NON-COMPETITIVE SWIM DIVISION at registration. WHALe has changed the rules due to insurance, YOUR CHILD MUST BE AT LEAST 4 YEARS OLD BY MAY 1, 2024 TO REGISTER FOR THE NON-COMPETITIVE DIVISION. NO EXCEPTIONS.
