Wild West Brewfest 2026 Set to Return to Katy with Beer, Music, and a Mission
The Wild West Brewfest (WWBF), one of the most celebrated craft beer festivals in North America, is making its much-anticipated return to Katy this March. With over 100 breweries, multiple stages of live music, a climate-controlled wine grotto, and a deep commitment to local giving, WWBF 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest and most impactful event in its 15-year history.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Katy and run entirely by volunteers, the Wild West Brewfest will take place March 26–28, 2026 at Typhoon Texas Waterpark, located at 555 Katy Fort Bend Rd in Katy, Texas.
The three-day event kicks off on Thursday with the free-admission “K-Town Throw Down” (March 26, 6–9 PM), followed by Friday’s high-energy Launch Party (March 27, 7–10 PM), and culminates with the signature Main Event on Saturday (March 28), with VIP access starting at 2 PM and General Admission at 3 PM.
More Than a Festival: A Local Legacy
Since its founding by Katy Rotarians in 2011, WWBF has donated over $1.5 million in net proceeds to student scholarships and local nonprofit organizations. Every ticket sold, every pint poured, and every song played supports causes that matter to the Katy community.
“Our mission is clear: make 2026 our most impactful year yet,” said Rodolfo Lobera, Rotary Club of Katy President. “Every ticket, every pour, and every note of music fuels our purpose—raising money to support those who need it most.”

In 2025 alone, funds raised from the event supported organizations like Christ Clinic, Hope Impacts, ARTReach, MADD, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Katy Heritage Society, and more.
Bigger Brewers, Bolder Flavors
This year’s festival promises even more brewers from across Texas and the country, each bringing a variety of craft beers to sample. With over 500 unique beers and a dedicated team of “Purveyors of Intoxicating Liquid” scouting out top-tier brews, there’s something to satisfy every beer enthusiast.
For those seeking a different kind of sip, the H-E-B Wine Grotto is also making a return in 2026. Tucked away in the heart of the festival grounds, the climate-controlled grotto features over 50 wines from premier vineyards—a perfect retreat for guests looking to savor, relax, and recharge.
The upgraded Hop House will also offer an expanded seating area, curated dishes from local restaurants, and sets by talented DJs for a more immersive tasting experience.
Volunteer, Sponsor, Support
True to its roots, WWBF remains 100% volunteer-run. Volunteers are vital to the success of the event, helping with everything from pouring beers to greeting guests and assisting with event operations.
