Vivë Auto Expands Innovative Automotive Care Services with Second Location in Katy
An innovative car care studio, Vivë Auto, has recently expanded to open its second location in the Katy area. Founded by Anson Lau, a graduate of Dulles High School and the University of Houston, Vivë Auto has been making significant strides in the automotive industry since its inception in Anson's home garage in 2007.
Originally from Malaysia, Anson emigrated to the United States as a teenager, inheriting a deep passion for cars from his car enthusiast father. What began as a hobby has blossomed into a thriving business, now featuring a central Houston location and a dedicated team of 14 skilled professionals. Over the past 17 years , Anson has transformed this venture from a part-time project into a lifelong pursuit, serving a wide range of clients including Donatas Motiejūnas with the Houston Rockets and Patrick Patterson with Oklahoma City Thunder.

The facility boasts advanced equipment such as digital paint assessment gauges, infrared curing lamps, and eco-friendly chemicals. These tools enable the company to provide top-tier services like ceramic coating, paint protection film, and premium detailing.
"Starting with premium detailing and impeccable paint finishing, Anson has infused his love for cars into every aspect of our service," explained Linda Dang, Anson's wife. "When he realized that there was a demand for superior car care, he took the initiative to establish Vivë Auto."
Following an increased demand from suburban areas for their services, she noted that opening a second location in Katy was the next logical step, especially given the site's unique advantages as a second-generation automotive space with excellent freeway visibility. The new Katy location, which took several months of planning and development, was spearheaded by Anson, Linda, and store manager Christian Templet. Templet, a Katy native with extensive hospitality experience, has been with Vivë Auto for nearly two years and played a key role in the expansion.
