Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run Returns in 2025 for Community Fitness and Fun
Tomball Independent School District is gearing up for its highly anticipated Superintendent’s Fun Run, a signature community fitness event that promotes health, wellness, and school spirit. Presented by Tomball ISD MOVES, the 5K race and 1-mile walk will take place on April 12, 2025, at the Tomball Event Center, located at 20235 Cypress Rosehill Rd, Tomball, TX 77377.
Race Details and Registration
The Superintendent’s Fun Run is a timed 5K (3.1 miles) open to all students, staff, and community members. In addition to the competitive 5K, participants can opt for a 1-mile walking course set up around Tomball ISD Stadium. The top three runners in each classification will receive awards.

5K Fun Run: $30 early registration ($35 after April 5), $20 for ages 0-18

1-Mile Walk: $20 early registration ($25 after April 5), $15 for ages 0-18

A Free Community Festival for All Ages
In addition to the Fun Run, Tomball ISD Stadium will host a family-friendly festival featuring activities for attendees of all ages.
Kidzone Attractions
Families are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy a variety of entertainment, including inflatables and bounce houses, a toddler soft play area, a rock climbing wall, and face painting.
Live Student Performances and Health & Wellness Fair
Throughout the event, attendees can watch Tomball ISD student performances and participate in a Health & Wellness Vendor Fair featuring local businesses and organizations that promote a healthy lifestyle.

Funds raised from the Superintendent’s Fun Run help cover event costs, with remaining proceeds supporting health and wellness initiatives across Tomball ISD campuses and departments. Additionally, funds benefit the Tomball Education Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2017 to enhance educational opportunities for Tomball ISD’s 22,000 students across 22 schools.
Since its inception, the Tomball Education Foundation has awarded 97 grants totaling $306,170.51, positively impacting 90 teachers and countless students. The Foundation funds innovative projects beyond traditional school budgets, empowering teachers and fostering student success.

For those unable to participate, the 5K Fun Run will be broadcast live on the video board inside Tomball ISD Stadium, allowing spectators to cheer for their favorite runners from the stands.
