Thank You, Sheffield: Community Engagement Shines at 2025 HOA Annual Meeting

November 06 2025

The Sheffield Homeowners Association extends heartfelt thanks to all residents who attended this year’s 2025 HOA Annual Meeting, held on Wednesday, November 5 at Holmsley Elementary School in Houston. The annual meeting brought neighbors together for an evening of connection, transparency, and community-focused discussion.

The event kicked off with check-in at 6:45 p.m., followed by an official call to order at 7:00 p.m. Homeowners gathered to review key updates, hear a financial overview, participate in a homeowner forum, and vote in the Board of Directors election. With one Board seat on the ballot for a three-year term, community participation was essential—and Sheffield residents showed up with purpose.

A quorum of 10% was required to conduct the meeting, and thanks to a strong combination of in-person attendance and timely proxy submissions, that threshold was met. The HOA would like to thank everyone who submitted their proxy ahead of time and those who encouraged their neighbors to get involved. Your efforts made the meeting a success.

Throughout the evening, residents heard updates from the Board and management team, covering everything from neighborhood finances and recent projects to goals for the coming year. The open forum allowed neighbors to ask questions, raise concerns, and share ideas for Sheffield’s continued growth and improvement.

“We’re grateful for the level of engagement we saw this year,” said Beth R., Sheffield’s Community Manager. “Meetings like this are vital to the health of our neighborhood. They give residents a platform to be heard and help shape the future of our community.”

The Sheffield HOA would also like to thank Holmsley Elementary School for hosting the meeting and supporting the neighborhood in such a meaningful way.

Whether you were able to join in person or participated by submitting a proxy, your involvement helps keep Sheffield strong, informed, and connected. Community-driven decisions begin with engaged neighbors—and Sheffield remains a strong model of neighborhood involvement in the Cy-Fair area.
