Taste of Cy-Fair Set to Return October 7
Join local restaurants, business owners, and fellow residents this fall for a fun-filled food, beverage, and shopping event.
On October 7, the fourth annual A Taste of Cy-Fair will offer attendees delicious bites from participating Cy-Fair and Houston restaurants, including Marvino's, Backyard Grill, Dario's, Alicia's, Creekwood Grill and other local favorites. A variety of cuisines will be represented at this year's A Taste of Cy-Fair, highlighting of the rich culinary excellence available in our great city. Set to be held at the Lakeland Village Center in Bridgeland, this year’s outdoor event is sure to delight foodies and non-foodies alike, so come hungry.
Wine lovers will delight in an array of different whites, reds, and bubbly brands. Of age attendees will receive a memorable glass at the entrance, which will be used to taste and savor until your heart’s content. Beer lovers will have the opportunity to indulge in countless craft beers from local and national breweries assembled for your enjoyment.
The A Taste of Cy-Fair market is your chance to casually visit local artisans and businesses showcasing their goods and services. It’s a fun and easy way to learn about great services and products available in the Cy-Fair area, where you can discover your new favorite business. In addition to local businesses, attendees will find all kinds of surprises at the A Taste of Cy-Fair silent auction, with all proceeds donated to Cy-Fair. Bid on great services and merchandise or unique, original offerings.
There will not only be great music but also, beloved fairy tale characters, balloons, face painting, and more. Entertainers will include Randy Hulsey, a Cypress resident who performs at private parties, restaurants, and micro-breweries in the area, as well as Nate Gordon, a Cy-Fair musician and retired CFISD associate director of athletics.
This year, attendees can once again indulge in the VIP experience at of A Taste of Cy-Fair. VIP guests will be given one-hour early access to the entire event 4:00 to 5:00 PM. VIPs will have access to an exclusive VIP tent with private VIP entrance, with exclusive "in and out" tent privileges throughout the event. Dedicated, air-conditioned restrooms will be available for VIPs, as well as premium wines, beers and bites. VIPs will also receive a goodie bag while enjoying exclusive music entertainment in the VIP lounge area or table seating.
General admission will open at 5:00 PM and the event will conclude at 8:00 PM. Online general and VIP tickets are the lower prices of $15 for kids (12 and under), $35 for general, and $75 for VIP until midnight September 24, 2023. After that date, tickets are regular price of $20, $40, and $80. VIP admission begins at 4:00 PM. Pre-sale VIP tickets purchased online are priced at $75 until midnight on September 23, 2023. After that date, VIP tickets purchased the day of the event will be $80.
A Taste of Cy-Fair started following Hurricane Harvey to help Cy-Fair friends and families in need. Organized by local restauranteurs, business owners, and residents, it has continued with the focus of helping local residents by donating event proceeds to Cy-Hope.
Cy-Hope brings needs and solutions together, bringing hope to at-risk children so they have an opportunity to grow into educated and productive citizens and make a lasting, positive impact on the community of Cy-Fair.
