Public Participation Guidelines
For Ella Crossing residents who wish to speak during the public comment portion of the meeting, here’s what to know:
- Up to 10 speakers total will be heard, and a maximum of 30 minutes is allocated for public comments.
- Sign-up begins 50 minutes before the meeting, starting at 6:10 p.m., at the reception desk outside the board room.
- All sign-ups must be completed by 6:45 p.m., 15 minutes before the meeting begins.
- At 6:45 p.m., a district representative will hold a lottery drawing to determine the speaker order. If more than 10 people register, the drawing will also determine which 10 speakers are selected.
- Each speaker will have up to three minutes to share their remarks.
Participants who are not selected to speak during the meeting are encouraged to submit their comments in writing to the Board for review.
