Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship Ramping Up for 9th Annual Derby Day Party
Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship is honored to welcome Houston Methodist as the Run for the Roses Presenting Sponsor of the 9th Annual Derby Day Party. Reining Strength’s signature event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at a new location — the Houston Marriott Sugar Land hotel.
Guests will enjoy a seated dinner, a live showing of the 149th Kentucky Derby Race and can participate in the ladies’ hat and men's boots and bowties contests, live and silent auctions and more. The event will begin at 3:30pm.
The annual Derby Day Party raises funds to support Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship’s programs serving children and adults in Fort Bend County and the Greater West Houston area. Its programs allow individuals with physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs to partner with horses, helping them realize their individual potential through customized equine assisted services.
