Portillo's Opens in Katy, Bringing Iconic Chicago-Style Eats Near Katy Asian Town
Portillo’s, the famed Chicago-style eatery, has officially opened its doors in Katy, at 1019 Westside Parkway near Katy Asian Town. Known for its signature dishes like Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and decadent chocolate cake, Portillo’s has become a national favorite, blending nostalgia with high-quality comfort food.
The new 7,700-square-foot location features a retro automotive garage design, complete with indoor dining, outdoor patios, and the convenience of double drive-thru lanes. To celebrate the grand opening, Portillo’s will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce alongside local leaders and enthusiasts on January 13, 2025 at 9:30 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Portillo's arrival in Katy.
