Pilates Addiction Reveals Local Owners, Gold-Plated Reformers Ahead of Vintage Park Opening

Northwest Houston
October 06 2026

When My Neighborhood News first reported in August that Pilates Addiction was headed to the Vintage Park area, the project was still largely defined by construction plans, a Louetta Road address and the brand's rapidly growing national footprint.

Now, the people and personality behind the Northwest Houston studio are coming into focus.

Pilates Addiction has announced that Lacey and Russell Williams, a local husband-and-wife team who live near Vintage Park with their two young sons, will own and operate the new studio at 10300 Louetta Road, Suite 100. The location is expected to open this winter, bringing the company's patented gold-plated Aurum™ Reformers, black-and-gold studio design and four signature class formats to the area.

For Vintage Park, Champions, Klein and other nearby Northwest Houston communities, the update adds a more personal dimension to a project already moving toward completion along the busy Louetta Road corridor.

From Construction Plans to a Local Family Business

In August, My Neighborhood News reported that Pilates Addiction planned a 1,813-square-foot buildout at The Vintage Center, with a state project filing estimating construction costs at $250,000 and listing work from Sept. 14 through Nov. 16, 2026.

At the time, the studio was already listed as "coming soon" by the company, but details about who would operate the location had not yet been publicly announced.

That piece of the story is now clear.

Both Texas A&M University alumni, Lacey and Russell already spend much of their time around Vintage Park, from supporting local businesses to dining at neighborhood restaurants. Their family connection to the area ultimately made the location an easy choice for their first studio.

"Vintage Park is the kind of neighborhood where people build routines around the places they love," Russell Williams said. "We already live that ourselves, and now we have the opportunity to contribute something of our own. We want Pilates Addiction to become a place people feel connected to and are proud to have in their community."

For a fitness studio built around repeat visits and long-term routines, that local ownership could become just as important as the equipment inside.

Pilates Became Personal for Lacey Williams

Lacey's interest in the concept grew out of her own background in fitness.

A former track athlete, she previously worked for several years as a personal trainer at Equinox in River Oaks, where she specialized in pre- and postnatal clients. She discovered Pilates while pregnant with her first son and was drawn to the combination of full-body strength work and lower-impact movement.

Years later, she and Russell visited Pilates Addiction's West Hollywood studio, an experience that eventually led them to bring the brand to Northwest Houston.

"People here already have access to great fitness, so we knew we couldn't just open another Pilates studio and expect that to be enough," Lacey Williams said. "We chose Pilates Addiction because the experience genuinely felt different – the Aurum Reformer changes what can happen in a class, the programming gives you somewhere to progress, and the studio has an energy you feel as soon as you walk in. We fell in love with it when we visited the West Hollywood studio, and we know our community will too."

The Gold-Plated Reformer Is More Than a Design Choice

Residents who have followed the Vintage Park project may already be familiar with Pilates Addiction's Aurum Reformer, but the newly released details make the studio's visual identity hard to miss.

The proprietary machine is gold-plated and combines a traditional reformer, jump board, barre and Wunda Chair into one platform. That setup allows instructors to move participants through strength, balance, mobility, core and endurance exercises without repeatedly switching between stations.

The gold finish also fits into the company's broader black-and-gold studio design, which includes modern lighting, wood and metallic finishes and curated retail.

The look is deliberate, but the company says the equipment is intended to serve a functional purpose first, giving instructors more ways to build progression into a single class.

Four Class Formats Will Range From Introductory to Advanced

As My Neighborhood News previously reported, the Vintage Park studio is expected to offer Pilates Addiction's four signature classes.

Ignite is a 30-minute introductory class designed to help newcomers become familiar with the Aurum Reformer and the studio's movement style.

Core+ is a 50-minute higher-intensity, low-impact class centered on full-body strength and core work.

Max is a more advanced 50-minute workout emphasizing strength, endurance, control and continuous movement.

Mobility RX focuses on stretching, mobility, functional movement and control.

Pilates Addiction says its instructors, referred to by the company as Pilates Educators, are trained in anatomy and biomechanics through the Pilates Addiction Movement Academy.

That progression-based approach is one reason the Williamses say the brand stood out to them as they considered what kind of fitness business to bring to the area.

A Fast-Growing Brand Arrives as Pilates Demand Remains Strong

Pilates Addiction itself is still young, but its expansion has been rapid.

The company launched its first studio in West Hollywood in May 2025 and grew out of the evolution of WundaBar Pilates, the long-running Pilates concept founded by Amy Jordan. Elements of WundaBar's equipment and methodology helped form the foundation of Pilates Addiction's current model.

By 2026, the company had awarded hundreds of franchise territories nationwide, including an expanding pipeline in Texas and the Greater Houston area.

The Vintage Park studio is entering that market at a time when Pilates continues to rank among the most popular boutique fitness categories. As My Neighborhood News reported in August, ClassPass data showed Pilates as the platform's most-booked workout worldwide for the third consecutive year in 2025, with Pilates reservations climbing 66% year over year and reformer Pilates bookings increasing 71%.

For residents around Vintage Park, that national fitness trend is translating into something much more local: another workout option just minutes from home.

What Happens Next for Pilates Addiction Vintage Park

The studio is now expected to open this winter, although a specific grand opening date has not yet been announced.

That timing remains consistent with the construction schedule previously reported, which listed an anticipated Nov. 16 completion date for the tenant buildout. As with any new business, the actual opening can still depend on inspections, staffing, final equipment installation and other pre-opening preparations.

What has changed since the project first surfaced in August is the clearer picture of what the studio is intended to become.

The location now has local owners, a family connection to the community and a defined identity centered around Pilates Addiction's gold-plated reformers and progression-based class format.

For Lacey and Russell Williams, the project also brings their story full circle, from discovering Pilates years ago to visiting the brand in West Hollywood and now preparing to open a studio near the places their family already knows and frequents.

And for Northwest Houston residents who have been watching the construction along Louetta Road, the project is moving from a name on a development filing to a neighborhood business that is getting closer to opening its doors.

My Neighborhood News will continue following Pilates Addiction Vintage Park and other new businesses coming to Northwest Houston as additional opening details become available.
