Pilates Addiction Is Coming to Vintage Park Area in Northwest Houston as Pilates Popularity Keeps Climbing
For Northwest Houston residents looking for another way to fit strength, mobility and low-impact exercise into their routines, a fast-growing name in boutique fitness is preparing to move into the Vintage Park area.
Pilates Addiction is coming to The Vintage Center at 10300 Louetta Road in Houston, where plans call for a 1,813-square-foot studio. A state project filing lists an estimated construction cost of $250,000, with work scheduled to begin Sept. 14, 2026, and reach completion Nov. 16, 2026.
The commercial tenant buildout is expected to include new walls, demolition, ductwork and improvements involving the building’s electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
Pilates Addiction has also officially listed the Vintage Park studio as “coming soon” on its website and is already inviting prospective members to join a VIP list or sign up for founding memberships.
For an area that continues to add restaurants, services, retail and wellness concepts along the Louetta Road corridor, the studio represents another fitness option close to home — and one arriving as Pilates is enjoying a remarkable stretch of consumer interest.
What Is Pilates Addiction?
Pilates Addiction is a relatively young brand, but its roots extend beyond its 2025 launch.
The company debuted its first Pilates Addiction studio in West Hollywood, California, in May 2025, beginning a national expansion under CEO Sarah Luna, a longtime boutique fitness executive whose previous experience included leadership roles connected with Club Pilates, Pure Barre and Xponential Fitness.
The concept developed in part from the acquisition and evolution of WundaBar Pilates, a Pilates business created by Amy Jordan. WundaBar had operated for roughly 14 years before its concept and equipment became part of the foundation for Pilates Addiction, with existing WundaBar studios transitioning into the newer brand.
That history helps explain why Pilates Addiction has expanded much more quickly than a typical startup fitness studio.
By May 2026, the company said it had awarded more than 300 franchise territories across 27 states, less than a year after opening its first location. In June, Pilates Addiction announced plans to pursue another 300 territories as its national rollout continued.
Studios have already opened in markets including West Hollywood, Alamo Heights near San Antonio and Chattanooga, while additional locations are moving through various stages of development around the country.
The Vintage Park location is part of that broader expansion — and part of a particularly active push into Texas.
What Makes Pilates Addiction Different?
Anyone picturing a quiet mat Pilates class may find something noticeably different when walking into a Pilates Addiction studio.
The company describes its approach as a combination of traditional Pilates principles — including control, alignment and core engagement — with a more athletic, higher-intensity style of movement.
At the center of the workout is the brand’s proprietary Aurum Reformer, an all-in-one Pilates platform that integrates several pieces of equipment ordinarily associated with separate exercises: a reformer, Wunda Chair, jump board and ballet barre.
For members, that means instructors can move between resistance work, core exercises, balance, mobility and other movements without repeatedly changing stations or equipment.
The studio also places an emphasis on a contemporary boutique environment, with lighting, music and instructor-led programming designed to create a more energetic experience than some traditional Pilates formats.
That combination — reformer Pilates, strength training and low-impact exercise — puts the brand squarely within several fitness trends that have gained momentum in recent years.
Four Pilates Addiction Classes Offer Different Levels of Intensity
The planned Vintage Park Pilates Addiction is expected to offer the company's four signature class formats, ranging from introductory sessions to more advanced workouts.
IGNITE is a 30-minute introductory class intended to familiarize newcomers with the Aurum Reformer, core activation and the studio's movement style.
CORE+ is the company's signature 50-minute full-body class, combining higher-intensity but low-impact movements with an emphasis on strength and core work.
For experienced members, MAX is a more advanced 50-minute class designed around strength, endurance, control and continuous movement.
MOBILITY RX takes a different approach, focusing on flexibility, mobility, control and functional strength rather than simply treating recovery as passive stretching.
Together, the formats allow members to move from beginner-oriented Pilates instruction toward progressively more demanding workouts without leaving the same studio concept.
Pilates Is Having a Moment — and the Numbers Show It
Pilates may have been around for generations, but today's enthusiasm for the workout is anything but old-fashioned.
Data from ClassPass' 2025 Look Back Report found that Pilates was the platform's most-booked workout worldwide for the third consecutive year. Pilates reservations climbed 66% year over year in 2025, while reformer Pilates bookings increased 71%. More than 15 million Pilates reservations were made through ClassPass during the period covered by the report.
That growth isn't limited to one booking platform's annual rankings.
The Sports & Fitness Industry Association has also reported gains in participation for class-based fitness activities including Pilates, yoga and barre following disruptions during the pandemic period.
The appeal is not difficult to understand. Pilates can combine resistance, balance, stability, mobility and core work while generally remaining lower-impact than activities involving repetitive running or jumping. Reformer-based classes have also helped transform what was once viewed by some consumers as a specialized exercise method into a mainstream boutique fitness category.
For neighborhoods such as Vintage Park, that evolution increasingly means Pilates studios are becoming part of the same everyday fitness landscape as gyms, yoga studios, cycling concepts and strength-training facilities.
Pilates Addiction Is Expanding Around Greater Houston
The Vintage Park project also won't be the only Pilates Addiction planned for the Houston region.
The brand has been building a larger local pipeline, with additional studios reported or planned in communities including Memorial/Spring Branch, the Buffalo Speedway area and Manvel, among other Texas markets. Recent development activity points to Houston becoming an important piece of Pilates Addiction's national expansion strategy.
For Northwest Houston residents, however, the Vintage Park-area studio will put the concept directly along the busy Louetta Road corridor, convenient to neighborhoods throughout the broader Vintage Park, Champions, Klein and northwest Houston area.
The company's Vintage Park webpage currently lists the same 10300 Louetta Road, Houston, TX 77070 address included in the construction plans and is already promoting founding membership opportunities.
What Happens Next for Pilates Addiction Vintage Park?
According to the project information, construction is scheduled to begin Sept. 14 and conclude Nov. 16, 2026. Those dates describe the anticipated construction timeline and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed opening date; retail and fitness openings can still depend on permitting, inspections, staffing and other preparations after construction.
Still, the pieces are beginning to come together.
Pilates Addiction has publicly identified Vintage Park as an upcoming location, its Louetta Road address has been announced, and the planned buildout gives Northwest Houston residents a clearer picture of what's headed their way.
For a community where people increasingly look for dining, shopping, services and fitness options without making a long drive across Houston, the addition offers something simple but meaningful: another choice close to home.
