PickleRage Brings Year-Round Pickleball to Austin with New Indoor Club at Anderson Arbor
A surge of pickleball passion is heading to the heart of Texas — again. PickleRage, one of the fastest growing indoor pickleball franchises in the country, has officially announced its newest club will open in Austin in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility will be located at Anderson Arbor shopping center (13435 US-183, Austin, TX 78750), bringing a year-round indoor pickleball destination to one of the nation’s most active cities.
This will be PickleRage’s first foray into Texas, part of a broader national expansion targeting high-growth, health-conscious communities. Known for its vibrant culture of movement, music, and social connection, Austin is a natural fit for the franchise’s community-centered mission.
Franchise owners Dwarakesh Subramanian, Sai Talasia, and Sivanaga Kukkapalli — all local Austinites — are leading the charge. “Austin's culture is built around movement, connection, and community, and pickleball fits right in,” said Subramanian. “PickleRage delivers an elevated indoor experience that brings people together, whether they're new to the game or seasoned competitors. We're proud to bring this concept to Austin and create a space where the community can play, socialize, and have fun year-round.”

The new club will feature nine indoor courts outfitted with PickleRage’s signature CushionX pro-level playing surfaces, as well as a player lounge, retail shop, and tech-integrated systems for easy reservations and check-ins. Members can expect a full slate of pickleball programming — from leagues and lessons to clinics and social events — all designed to welcome players of every age and skill level.
Founded in 2023 by a group of pickleball enthusiasts, PickleRage was born out of a simple but powerful idea: to create premium indoor pickleball spaces that serve as year-round hubs for health, friendship, and fun. With over 500 locations planned across the country within the next five years, the franchise continues to partner with passionate local owners to build high-quality clubs in cities where the demand for pickleball is exploding.
“Austin represents everything we look for in a new location,” said David Smith, COO at PickleRage. “From the city's rapid population growth to its active, social lifestyle, this expansion allows us to meet rising demand with a best-in-class indoor pickleball experience. We're confident that these franchisees are the perfect fit to help spearhead our efforts in the area.”

Pickleball has quickly become one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S., and Austin has been no exception. With parks and recreation centers across the city struggling to keep up with demand, the arrival of a dedicated indoor facility is a welcome addition for local enthusiasts looking to play rain or shine, hot or cold.
Set to open in Q2 of 2026, PickleRage at Anderson Arbor is poised to become a go-to destination for players from North Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and beyond — creating not just a club, but a vibrant community built around one of America’s favorite sports.
