Pickleball enthusiasts in Cypress will soon have a new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the rapidly growing sport. Pickle Point, known for its high-quality courts and wellness-focused amenities, has officially filed permits to open its newest location at 15623 Mueschke Road, near Houston Premium Outlets in Cypress. With construction set to begin on February 14, 2025, and an expected completion date of May 30, 2025, the new $250,000 facility will be the latest addition to Pickle Point’s expanding network, which currently includes a location in Katy and a planned opening in Sugar Land.

Pickleball has surged in popularity across the United States, with millions of players embracing the sport for its accessibility, social nature, and health benefits. A hybrid of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, pickleball is played on a smaller court with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball. The game can be enjoyed in singles or doubles formats and is known for its fast-paced yet easy-to-learn nature, making it appealing to players of all ages and skill levels.

Players can look forward to more than 200 hours of organized play each month, including leagues, tournaments, drills, and lessons for all skill levels.

Pickle Point offers flexible membership options, ranging from $99 per month to $984 per year, with quarterly payment plans also available.
