Pet Adoptions Waived This Saturday at Harris County Pets

Although Harris County Pets will be closed Friday, April 7th and Sunday, April 9th, the shelter will be OPEN Saturday, April 8th.  All dog adoption fees have been waived and no adoption appointment is needed. Harris County Pets has almost 300 dogs available for adoption that would like to be in a loving home before the holiday weekend. All dogs can be viewed on their website at www.countypets.com.

Adoption includes:
  • Spay or neuter
  • Microchip
  • Age appropriate vaccinations
  • 1 Year Harris County pet license
   
 
Harris County Pets is located at 612 Canino Road in Houston. Normal adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
 

About Harris County Pets

Harris County Pets is an open intake, municipal pet adoption and resource center that serves the residents and pets of unincorporated Harris County. 

Anyone can adopt from Harris County Pets.  Anyone can volunteer at Harris County Pets (must be 16 years of age). To foster for Harris County Pets, you must live in Harris, Brazoria, Chambers, Ft. Bend, Liberty, Montgomery or Waller county.
