Passport Fair Scheduled at Katy Branch Library to Serve Local Residents
Residents in Anniston who are planning upcoming travel or need to apply for a U.S. passport will have a convenient, close-to-home option later this month. The Katy Branch Library will host a Passport Fair on Friday, January 23, 2026, bringing trained passport staff directly into the community for a limited-time event.
The passport fair is made possible with support from passport specialists from Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Branch Library, who will be on-site to process applications and assist residents through the required steps.
Passport Fair Details
The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Katy Branch Library, located at 5414 Franz Road, Katy, TX 77493. Service is first come, first served, and the line will be closed at 4:00 p.m. or earlier if capacity is reached. Those waiting in line should be aware that service is not guaranteed if demand is high.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early and fully prepared to avoid losing their place in line.
