Panera Bread Locations on Louetta, Tomball Parkway Close Suddenly in Northwest Houston
The doors are now locked and the signs dark at two once-busy Panera Bread cafés in Northwest Houston—located at8203 Louetta Rd, Spring, TX 77379 and 22521 Tomball Pkwy Suite 125, Houston, TX 77070.
The closures were part of a region-wide shutdown of 15 Panera locations operated by EYM Café of Texas LLC, a now-bankrupt franchise group. On August 2, 2025, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Eastern District of Texas, listing millions of dollars in liabilities and under $50,000 in assets.

Court records show that Panera LLC had already severed its relationship with EYM before the filing, citing unpaid royalties, food safety violations, and brand misuse in a formal lawsuit. All EYM-operated cafés were ordered to close and to remove all Panera branding as a result.
The Louetta and Tomball Parkway locations were popular neighborhood gathering spots, especially for residents of Champions, Willowbrook, and Vintage Park areas. The sudden closures left many residents wondering what happened—and what will become of the now-vacant buildings.
