SPOOKIEST YARDS OF THE SEASON!

We probably say this far too often, but this Halloween had to be one of the best on record. We had some very elaborate and creative displays throughout the neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who participated and delighted the kids (and adults!) in our area.

A very special thanks to board member Brittany Severin, who took over judging duties from Suzie Bredlau for the competition. “The best part about it all was getting to meet new neighbors and engage in great conversations,” Severin said.

Our haunted Yard of the Season winners were:
  • 1010 Rennie Dr.
  • 1110 Pittsford Ct.
  • 20123 Kingsland Blvd.
  • 867 Shillington Dr.
  • 706 Chestnut Hills Ct.

BREAK OUT THE DECORATIONS
All of you who love the holidays, it’s time to pull those boxes down from the attic and decorate for December. We will be judging to see who has been naughty or nice (oh wait, that’s not our job). We will instead be judging who has the best Yard of the Season. May the homeowners with the best spirit win!

PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
By the time you are reading this, you should have received the official notice of the annual meeting of the NCCIA board of directors, along with the agenda and ballots for board elections.

There is one critical update to the ballot: Brenda Dorsey is listed as a candidate, but she is no longer running for election. The ballots were already printed when she withdrew her name for consideration. Any vote for her will not be counted.

The annual meeting is set for Tuesday, December 6 at 7 pm. at the Mason Creek Community Center. Please vote for your board members of choice and/or consider attending the meeting. Election results will be announced, and our association attorney Michael Gainer and Sgt. Robert Felix will be on hand to answer any questions homeowners may have.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR DECORATIONS
Please remove Halloween decorations and any political signs, but feel free to go nuts with your Christmas décor. Let’s keep our neighborhood looking nice year-round.

REMINDER: HOA FEES DUE
By this time, homeowners should have received their annual bill for HOA fees. At $300/lot, NCCIA fees are some of the lowest in Harris County. They are due by the end of the year. Please note that if you pay with a credit card, there will be a small surcharge. Please pay on time to avoid late fees.
