MUDGIRL Run Returns to Conroe in October 2025: Empowering Women Through Mud and Obstacles

March 26 2025

The MUDGIRL Run, a celebrated obstacle race dedicated exclusively to women, is set to make its return to Conroe on October 4, 2025. The event will take place at the 3 Palms Action Sports Park, located at 15100 Interstate 45 S, Conroe, TX 77384.

A Movement Built on Mud, Empowerment, and Purpose

The MUDGIRL Run was launched by Sportera, a Canadian-based events company founded by brothers Maxime and Simon-Antoine Pothier, who sought to create an inclusive, supportive space for women to challenge themselves physically while celebrating strength, solidarity, and self-confidence. What began as a small-scale event in Canada has grown into an international movement, with thousands of participants across North America joining what has become known as the “Pink Army.”

More than just a mud run, MUDGIRL is a female-focused obstacle course race designed to bring women together for fun, fitness, and a meaningful cause. The event was created in part to support the fight against breast cancer, with a portion of proceeds donated to partner organizations that fund research, raise awareness, and provide support for those affected by the disease.

Each participant in the Conroe MUDGIRL event will receive a commemorative headband, wristband, bag, eye black, and finisher medal—symbols of not only completing the course but of joining a larger community of women supporting women.
