Lamar CISD Gold Card Opens School Events to Seniors in Fulshear
A football game under the lights, a student musical or an evening concert can offer an enjoyable and meaningful way to stay connected with the community. Through its Gold Card Club, Lamar Consolidated ISD gives eligible residents in Fulshear access to many of those experiences at no charge.
The Lamar CISD Gold Card Club is free to district residents age 65 and older.
Members receive free admission to regular-season Lamar CISD athletic events. Playoff games are not included.
The card also provides free admission to most cultural events at Lamar CISD schools, including plays, musicals and concerts. Fundraising events, such as dinners, are excluded from the program.
Applying for a Lamar CISD Gold Card
Eligible residents can submit the online application linked through the district’s Gold Card Club webpage. Additional information is available from the Lamar CISD Community Relations Department at 832-223-0000.
Because playoff contests, fundraisers and certain special events may operate under separate admission rules, cardholders should review event information before attending.
A Simple Way to Stay Involved
School events create a natural gathering place for neighbors of different ages and backgrounds. For older adults, attending a game or performance can provide regular social interaction, a reason to try something new and a closer look at what students are accomplishing.
The benefit extends to students as well. A full audience or lively crowd shows young performers and athletes that their work matters beyond their immediate families and classmates. Seniors from Fulshear bring experience, encouragement and a valuable intergenerational presence to these occasions.
Whether the evening features a marching band, theater production, choir or varsity matchup, the Gold Card can help residents enjoy more of what is happening close to home.
For qualifying adults in Fulshear, it is a free benefit that can turn the district calendar into a year-round source of entertainment and community connection.
