Katy Mills Kicks Off Spring with Job Fair and Family Safety Event on April 26

April 23 2025

Spring is blooming with opportunities at Katy Mills Mall as it hosts two major community events on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Shoppers and residents alike are invited to attend the Katy Mills Spring Job Fair in partnership with Workforce Solutions, and the Super Safety Event presented by Old Navy with support from local first responders and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Together, these free public events highlight Katy Mills’ commitment to serving the community—not only by supporting local employment but also by fostering family-friendly, educational experiences.

Spring Job Fair: Career Connections at Katy Mills

From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, job seekers are encouraged to visit the Katy Mills Spring Job Fair, a one-day hiring event designed to connect candidates with a wide range of local employers. Attendees will have access to:

  • Opportunities for both part-time and full-time jobs in Katy, TX

  • Career guidance and resources from Workforce Solutions

Whether you're a high school graduate looking for your first job or a professional seeking a new opportunity, this Katy job fair offers something for everyone. Attendees should come dressed to impress and bring copies of their resumes for potential employers.

Super Safety Event: Fun and Education for the Whole Family

Meanwhile, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, families can head to Old Navy inside Katy Mills for an exciting and meaningful afternoon of learning and play. The Super Safety Event will include:

  • Interactive games and coloring pages for kids

  • Photo ops and treats provided by local first responders

  • Important safety tips and resources from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)

Founded in 1984, NCMEC is the leading nonprofit organization working to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. According to NCMEC, education and awareness play a key role in keeping children safe, and events like this help reinforce that message in a way families can easily engage with.

Studies show that children educated in personal safety are more confident and better equipped to recognize and respond to potentially dangerous situations. In fact, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention notes that community-based prevention efforts are among the most effective tools in promoting child safety.
