Join the Journey of Service: Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Opens 2026 Membership Tours

January 13 2026

Women throughout the North Houston corridor are invited to step into a legacy of service with the Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum (CWJF), as the organization opens its doors for the 2026 Prospective New Member Tours.

Set for February 25 at 10:00 AM and March 25 at 4:00 PM, both events will be held at 14015 Park Dr. #206, Tomball, TX 77377. These engaging recruitment sessions offer a firsthand look into how CWJF continues to make a tangible difference across communities like Cypress, The Woodlands, Tomball, and Spring.

A Women-Led Mission to Serve Greater North Houston

Founded in 1982, CWJF is a dynamic women’s volunteer organization dedicated to philanthropy, leadership, and enriching lives through hands-on service. The group actively partners with local schools, nonprofits, and community agencies to fulfill a broad range of needs — from early childhood literacy and veteran appreciation to senior support and crisis response.

In 2024-2025 alone, CWJF members logged over 18,000 hours of combined service and support, valued at more than $650,000 according to IRS-calculated metrics. With 24 active service programs, CWJF volunteers impacted the lives of nearly 190,000 individuals.

“Join Us On Our Journey” – Upcoming Member Tours

During the February and March tours, prospective members will learn about CWJF’s Signature Programs like Baxter the Bookworm, Forum Friends, and FAST Friends, as well as its collaborations with Meals on Wheels, Montgomery County Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity Restore, and many others.

Participants will meet current members, tour the CWJF facilities, and hear how women from all walks of life have found community and purpose in volunteerism. Attendees can scan QR codes to register for a tour or learn more about the organization.

Why CWJF Matters

CWJF continues to serve a rapidly growing region that includes more than 590,000 residents, where nearly 40% are under 18 or seniors — the primary focus of many of CWJF’s outreach efforts.

Through children's reading programs, senior engagement visits, family support drives, and even treat bags for veterans at the Tomball VA Clinic, CWJF makes it possible for women to connect their time and talents to causes that truly matter.

Scholarships and Grants with Heart

The organization’s dedication to education is also seen in its robust scholarship program. Since 1990, CWJF has awarded 1,287 scholarships totaling over $1.27 million. In the 2024-2025 year alone, 61 scholarships were distributed — including 29 endowed and 32 annual awards. CWJF has also awarded more than $550,000 in community grants since 1993.

How to Get Involved

With 145 active members, 158 supporting members, and 36 new provisional members joining last spring, CWJF continues to thrive thanks to women passionate about creating meaningful change.
