CHRISTMAS AT THE GAZEBO

This year, Southdown and Southcreek Villages joined together to have Christmas at the Gazebo! This event took place on Saturday, December 11th from 3-5 PM at the Southcreek park located at Signal Creek and Royal Gardens.

Neighbors enjoyed painting, temporary tattoos, crafts & activities for the kids, an inflatable slide, a mechanical Reindeer and more! And of course, Santa was there for pictures with the kiddos.

We listened to Christmas music, visit with neighbors and enjoyed freshly popped popcorn & water bottles.

We also collected Toys for Tots at this event. Attendees were asked to bring an unwrapped new toy to donate to Toys for Tots. All residents that donated a new toy received a chance to win a homemade gingerbread house.

Many thanks to all who participated!

SOUTHDOWN VILLAGE CRIME WATCH

Have you noticed the new signs at the entrances of Southdown Village?

These signs were provided by County Commissioner Tom Ramsey of Harris County Precinct 3.

Crime Stoppers was formed in Houston in 1980. During it’s 40 years, Crime Stoppers has grown into a large non-profit organization dedicated to public safety. Crime Stoppers guarantees anonymity and cash rewards leading to the arrest of major criminal offenders. However, Crime Stoppers is much more than a tip-line. Visit their website at: Crime-Stoppers.org
for more information.

Crime Stoppers is not to be confused with our regular law enforcement within our Southdown neighborhood.

If you see anything suspicious, call the non-emergency number.

Harris County Sheriff 713-221-6000 (Option 6)

For a crime in progress, fire or a serious medical emergency in progress Call 9-1-1
