Fulshear is getting its first Jack in the Box, with the familiar fast-food chain preparing to open its doors on Saturday, October 31, 2026, according to the restaurant's Google Maps listing. Located at 27027 Fulshear Bend Drive in The Market at Cross Creek Ranch, the new restaurant will give residents another convenient option for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a quick meal on the go.
For families in Cross Creek Ranch, Jordan Ranch and surrounding Fulshear neighborhoods, the opening means they will no longer have to head toward Katy, Brookshire or Richmond for their favorite Jack in the Box menu items. The restaurant will offer drive-thru service and indoor seating, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options available.
First Jack in the Box in Fulshear Joins The Market at Cross Creek Ranch
The new Jack in the Box is located along FM 1463, immediately west of the Chase Bank building at 5210 FM 1463. Its location within The Market at Cross Creek Ranch places it near residential neighborhoods and shopping areas that serve Fulshear's growing population.
The restaurant has been in the works for several years. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, plans originally called for construction of a 1,873-square-foot, freestanding fast-food restaurant with a drive-thru. The privately funded project carried an estimated construction cost of $500,000, with an original construction schedule running from June 15 through December 1, 2023.
Although the original filing lists 5210 FM 1463 as the project address, the restaurant's official Jack in the Box location page identifies 27027 Fulshear Bend Drive, Fulshear, TX 77441 as its address. The two addresses refer to neighboring properties, with the restaurant situated immediately west of the Chase Bank building.
While the company's website currently lists an October 2026 opening, the restaurant's Google Maps listing provides a more specific date of October 31, 2026. The Halloween opening date has not yet been separately announced on the company's official location page.
What Will Be on the Menu at Fulshear's New Jack in the Box?
Jack in the Box has been a familiar name in American fast food since its founding in San Diego, California, in 1951. The chain helped popularize drive-thru dining and has become known for offering a menu that goes beyond traditional burgers and fries.
Its signature offerings include the Jumbo Jack, Ultimate Cheeseburger, Sourdough Jack, curly fries and the chain's longtime favorite, Jack in the Box tacos. The menu also features chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, shakes and desserts.
One of the brand's distinguishing features is its all-day breakfast menu, which allows customers to order breakfast favorites outside traditional morning hours at participating locations. For Fulshear residents juggling school drop-offs, commutes, errands and evening activities, that flexibility may be part of the restaurant's appeal.
The new Fulshear location is expected to offer the chain's familiar menu, although specific hours, promotions and individual menu availability have not yet been confirmed.
Jack in the Box Already Has Several Restaurants Near Fulshear
While this will be the first Jack in the Box within Fulshear, the chain already has an established presence throughout the greater Katy and Fort Bend County area.
Nearby restaurants include locations at 1480 S. Grand Parkway and 25105 Market Place Drive in Katy, 321 FM 359 Road S. in Brookshire, and 7975 W. Grand Parkway S., Suite 100, in Richmond. Additional locations operate along South Mason Road, Morton Ranch Road and other major corridors throughout the Katy area.
Nationally, Jack in the Box operates more than 2,000 restaurants, primarily across the western and southern United States. The brand's history stretches back more than 75 years, and its familiar mascot, Jack, has been a recognizable part of its advertising for decades.
The Fulshear opening will bring that established brand closer to residents on the western side of the Katy area, particularly those who regularly travel along FM 1463.
What the New Restaurant Means for Fulshear Residents
The arrival of Jack in the Box comes as Fulshear experiences a major wave of residential and commercial growth, with new neighborhoods, shopping centers, restaurants and businesses continuing to reshape the once-small Fort Bend County community. Master-planned developments such as Jordan Ranch, Cross Creek West and Fulshear Lakes are bringing more homes to the area, while established communities like Cross Creek Ranch continue to attract businesses looking to serve the growing population.
That growth is especially noticeable along FM 1093 and FM 1463. Fulshear Central, a mixed-use development planned for approximately 23 acres along FM 1093, is under construction, with plans for more than 150,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, office and other commercial space. Meanwhile, construction is underway on The Commons at Cross Creek West, a five-acre commercial development expected to bring two retail buildings to the community's entrance. In June 2026, Century Communities also celebrated the grand opening of Fulshear Junction, a new residential community near FM 359 and FM 1093 featuring single-family homes, parks and future commercial space.
Recent openings have added to the area's growing selection of services and businesses, including School of Rock Fulshear, which celebrated its grand opening along Skyline Drive in June 2026. The City of Fulshear has also been investing in infrastructure to accommodate growth, completing nearly 20 infrastructure, public safety and community improvement projects during fiscal year 2025.
For residents, the new Jack in the Box is another example of how everyday conveniences are becoming easier to find closer to home. Whether grabbing breakfast before work, picking up dinner after a child's practice or stopping for a quick bite while running errands, Fulshear families will soon have another familiar option without driving into neighboring cities.
