Fulshear Central Breaks Ground, Marking a New Era of Lifestyle and Commerce in West Fort Bend
The long-anticipated Fulshear Central development officially broke ground on June 5, launching a transformative project poised to redefine lifestyle and commerce in one of Texas’s fastest-growing corridors. Located at 29607 FM 1093 Rd in Richmond, just south of Cross Creek Ranch, the expansive mixed-use complex is being constructed by Alpha Bravo Construction and spearheaded by Janapriya Upscale Developers.
Set across more than 1 million square feet of land, Fulshear Central will ultimately bring 130,600 square feet of new construction to the west Fort Bend region, blending retail, office, and community spaces into a walkable, family-friendly environment.
A Vision Takes Root
This latest milestone is the culmination of years of planning by Janapriya Upscale, a company that began its journey over 30 years ago in southern India and launched U.S. operations in 2017. Known for pioneering construction technologies and delivering over 25,000 apartment units abroad, Janapriya is now leveraging its experience to bring Fulshear residents a thoughtfully designed lifestyle center.

“At the core of our belief system is the idea that home is where the heart is,” the developers shared. “Given that, we wanted the residents of Fulshear to have a functional lifestyle center close to their homes.”
Fulshear Central aims to meet that goal with a well-rounded development plan that includes:
- 58,500 square feet of retail space
- 72,100 square feet of office condominiums
- 17 buildings total
- 5-acre scenic pond with a half-mile walking trail
- 2 acres of dedicated park space
- An open-air pavilion and green “Town Square”
The development is designed to be pedestrian-oriented, with single-story retail along FM 1093 and one- and two-story buildings grouped around a centralized green space. This includes a coffee and ice cream shop at either end of the square, as well as multiple commercial pad sites and event-ready office structures flanking the central lake.

A Dream Team of Professionals
Houston-based Alpha Bravo Construction is leading the build-out of Fulshear Central with a seasoned team that includes Project Manager Ahmed Hanif, Assistant Project Manager Jorge V., Site Supervisor Umair Khan, and Project Coordinator Sri Harshitha Peesara. Supporting the project's design is Kirksey Architecture, a Texas-based firm known for sustainable, community-focused spaces. Their team, led by Vice President Stephanie Wilkinson, designed the pedestrian-friendly layout centered around a vibrant Town Square.
Retail leasing is being handled by Streetwise Retail’s David Wise and Elliott Bridger, whose combined 35 years of experience in the Houston market brings strategic insight to the tenant mix. Engineering and infrastructure are backed by BGE, while Catalyst Technical Group provides end-to-end services from permitting to construction approvals. Nancy and Matthew Ware of Coldwell Banker also played a key role in shaping the project's early commercial strategy.
A Hub for Fulshear’s Future
Fulshear Central is designed not just for convenience, but for connection. The development will link with over 20 miles of trails, creating an extended network of outdoor accessibility for residents. With 65,000 vehicles passing daily along FM 1093, the area is primed for both foot traffic and commercial viability.

The project’s scale reflects the area’s rapid growth. Within a 7-mile radius, Fulshear Central serves a population of more than 175,000 residents—a number expected to rise as more families and businesses relocate to the region for its schools, green spaces, and suburban charm.
“From concept to construction, we’re bringing our signature precision, compliance, and quality to every square foot,” said Alpha Bravo Construction in a statement announcing the groundbreaking.
Looking Ahead
As vertical construction begins, residents and prospective tenants alike are invited to keep an eye on the evolving skyline just south of Cross Creek Ranch. With the promise of work, shopping, dining, and recreation in one centralized location, Fulshear Central is on track to become a new landmark for Fort Bend County.
