Inframark’s 2026 Juice Box Challenge Mobilizes Copper Lakes Residents to Help Fight Childhood Hunger Across Greater Houston

For families in Copper Lakes, making a difference this summer may be as simple as adding a box of juice to their grocery cart. Inframark, the community’s management partner, is inviting residents to participate in the 2026 Kids’ Meals Juice Box Challenge, a region-wide effort supporting children facing food insecurity across Greater Houston.

The campaign runs through June 30, 2026, with a goal of collecting 70,000 100% juice boxes to help complete nutritious meal deliveries. Each donation contributes directly to meals delivered to children who might otherwise go without—especially during the summer months when school is out.

When School’s Out, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Break

For many children, school provides consistent access to meals—but summer can create a gap that families struggle to fill. As Kids’ Meals emphasizes, “When school’s out, hunger is not.”

This summer, the organization will prepare and deliver more than 1 million free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children and their older siblings across Houston. To complete those meals, they rely on community-driven efforts like the Juice Box Challenge to ensure every child receives a balanced lunch—including a much-needed 100% juice box.

Each year, individuals, neighborhoods, and organizations across the region come together in this friendly and impactful drive, collecting juice boxes to support children in need. For residents in Copper Lakes, participating means becoming part of a larger, collective effort to care for Houston’s youngest and most vulnerable neighbors.

About Kids’ Meals, Inc.: From Two Vans to a Citywide Lifeline

The impact behind each juice box donation is rooted in the mission of Kids’ Meals, Inc., a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger. The organization delivers free, healthy meals directly to the homes of preschool-aged children living in food-insecure households—children who are not yet eligible for school-based meal programs.

Since its founding in 2006, Kids’ Meals has grown from serving just two zip codes with two vans to reaching 56 zip codes across Greater Houston. Today, thousands of children receive meals each day thanks to the combined efforts of staff, donors, and more than 40,000 volunteers annually who prepare, pack, and deliver food.

Beyond meals, Kids’ Meals works alongside community partners to connect families with resources that help break the cycle of poverty—making their impact both immediate and long-term.
