Houston SPCA to Host Clear the Shelters Adoption Event on Saturday, August 26Â
The Houston SPCA will host the Clear the Shelters pet adoption event on their Campus for All Animals on Saturday, August 26 from 11 AM to 6 PM. All large dogs, at least 35 pounds, will have a $10 adoption package which includes spay or neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip, free sample bag of Hill’s Science Diet and free post-exam from any VCA Animal hospital. In addition to adoptable pets, the campus will host free activities and giveaways throughout the day.

Starting at Noon (free while supplies last)
- Snow cones
- Custom-made balloon art animals & face painting
- Beer sampling from Eureka Heights Brewery
- Prizes and giveaways
During the Clear the Shelters adoption event, every canine and feline adopter will receive a free Hill’s Pet Nutrition gift bag.
The Houston SPCA is located near Memorial Park at 7007 Old Katy Road, Houston, Texas 77024 and is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Available pets can be viewed online at www.houstonspca.org.
