Houston SPCA Pet of the Week: Peter

August 04 2023

Meet Peter, a handsome two year-old Shepherd Mix who's calm and ready for a fur-ever family!

A Message from Peter

Once abandoned to fend for myself, now I live a stress-free life at Houston SPCA. They also cured my broken heart and am now heartworm free, ready for love. As soon as I step out of my condo, I'm on my best behavior. I know sit, stay, shake, & even lay -anything for a yummy treat!

There's not a stranger I won't accept a good scratch from. I'll even lay my head on your lap to feel safe. I might be shepherd mix, but my energy level is more of a docile cat. Will you make my wish come true & let me come home with you?

I hope to see you this weekend! Let’s hang out in our play yard and you can also meet my other roommates! I'm available for $10, including my microchip, spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
