Houston SPCA Pet of the Week: Bear
Meet Bear, a cuddly one year-old Labrador Retriever who's ready to snuggle into your family!
This handsome boy is a young pup with a whole life ahead of him. Weighing just under 61 pounds, Bear has the softest golden fur, perfect for the unlimited pets he requires. Just like any retriever, he loves fetching toys and leading the walks.
Don't let his initial skyness intimate you, he is a gentle giant once his guard is down. While he may not be keen on sharing the spotlight, his loyalty and devotion make him the perfect sole companion. Bear is grateful to Texans punter Cameron Johnston and his wife, Tia, for covering his adoption fee!
If you are ready for this sweet boy to join your family, grab a leash and collar and come on down to the Houston SPCA today! Every adoption includes a microchip, spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
Bear is one of the thousands of animals that the Host SPCA is able to provide care for thanks to donations. This year, the Houston SPCA hopes you consider the Houston SPCA for Giving Tuesday. A group of leadership donors has kindly agreed to match all donations up to $45,000 until December 31. Visit HoustonSPCA.org to make an impact today!
