Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital to Host Ribbon Cutting and Community Open House on February 15
Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital will host a Ribbon Cutting and Open House event on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its location on 24500 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, TX 77429, the site of the former Sysco campus. This event will offer an opportunity for the public to tour the hospital’s new facility, meet staff, and learn about the services offered ahead of the hospital's grand opening scheduled for March 17, 2025.
The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. and remarks from hospital leadership. Following the ceremony, attendees can participate in guided tours of the hospital, with staff on hand to provide information about the various services and facilities.
The hospital is set to provide a variety of health care services, including emergency care, orthopedic and sports medicine, physical and occupational therapy, oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and neurology. Currently, the facility is in its second phase of opening, with some services already available, including cancer care, infusion therapy, and breast care. The hospital will open with 100 beds and has plans to expand to 400 beds in the future.
