June 17 2025

The Fulshear Simonton Fire Department is ushering in a new era of public safety with the groundbreaking of a cutting-edge fire station at 3102 Jordan Ranch Boulevard, poised to serve the fast-growing Jordan Ranch area of Fort Bend County. The ceremonial groundbreaking, scheduled for June 18 at 8:00 AM, brings together local officials, first responders, and residents in celebration of this major community investment.

Expanding Emergency Response in Fort Bend County

Strategically positioned within the Jordan Ranch community, the new fire station aims to enhance emergency response capabilities, ensuring faster service and improved public safety for residents and businesses alike. Equipped with modern apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, specialized training areas, and integrated communications technology, the facility is tailored to meet both the current and future demands of a rapidly expanding region.

“Tomorrow is a proud day for our department and for the citizens we serve,” said Doug Boeker, Fire Chief of the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department. “This station represents a significant investment in safety, efficiency, and preparedness.”

Designed for the Future

This state-of-the-art facility is just the first in a broader three-station development plan that will roll out over the next three years. The expansion reflects Fort Bend County ESD No. 4’s long-term vision to proactively address the area's growth while prioritizing public safety, operational excellence, and firefighter wellness.

“Breaking ground on this new fire station is a proud moment for our entire community. Construction is projected to take approximately 13 months, with operations expected to begin soon after. The station’s design also promotes community connection, reflecting a holistic approach to emergency services that integrates both technological advancement and community engagement.
