Election Day is Saturday, May 2, 2026, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. across Fort Bend County.

Fort Bend County has made voting accessible with dozens of locations across the region.

Early Voting Sites

During early voting, residents had access to 21 locations countywide, including convenient options near many neighborhoods such as:

  • Cinco Ranch Branch Library (Katy)
  • Fulshear Branch Library (Fulshear)
  • George Memorial Library (Richmond)
  • Stafford City Hall (Stafford)
  • Kroger Riverstone (Sugar Land)

On May 2, voters can cast their ballot at any of the 38 countywide polling locations, including:

Looking Ahead: May 2026 Primary Runoff Election

Beyond the municipal election, another important date is approaching. The Democratic and Republican Primary Runoff Election is scheduled for late May, with early voting set for May 18–22, 2026 and Election Day shortly after.

The deadline to register for the runoff election is April 27, 2026, and mail ballot applications must be submitted by May 15, 2026. Early voting for the runoff will be available at more than 30 locations across Fort Bend County, expanding access for residents across the region.
