January 27 2025

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners will host their highly anticipated 25th Annual Fruit Tree Sale at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, Barn H, located at 4310 Highway 36 South in Rosenberg, Texas. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon or until all plants are sold.

This year’s sale boasts an impressive selection of approximately 1,000 plants, featuring 75 varieties of fruit trees, berries, and tropical/sub-tropical plants. Among the offerings, all citrus trees are certified disease-free, ensuring customers take home healthy and high-quality plants for their gardens.

Why Buy from Fort Bend County Master Gardeners?

Purchasing fruit trees from the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners comes with more than just a plant—it’s an investment in expert support and sustainable gardening. The proceeds from the sale support the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. These volunteers are trained horticultural specialists dedicated to educating and assisting the local community with research-backed advice on lawns, gardens, and more.

Throughout the event, Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions, provide planting and care tips, and ensure buyers select the right tree or plant for their specific needs. In fact, Fort Bend County Master Gardeners offer year-round, free-of-charge support, making purchases from the sale an unparalleled opportunity for both novice and experienced gardeners.
