Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo Scholarships Now Open

December 12 2023

The Fort Bend County Fair Association is once again offering scholarships to support the dreams and academic pursuits of Fort Bend County students.

Scholarships play a pivotal role in opening doors to higher education, reducing financial burdens, and fostering a culture of academic achievement. This year, the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo will award $5,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors graduating in Spring 2024, and to second-year applicants who successfully completed the 2023 Scholarship.

The Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo has long been a cherished institution in the community, not only as a source of entertainment and tradition but also for its significant contributions to education. The scholarship program is an embodiment of the Fair's commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation of learners. Since 1979, the Fort Bend County Fair has awarded 1,045 scholarships to deserving students, a testament to their ongoing dedication to education and community development.
