Eat Drink HTX 2026 Serves Up Flavor and Philanthropy in Katy and Fulshear
Dining out for a cause never tasted so good. From February 15 through February 28, 2026, restaurants across Katy and Fulshear will participate in the fifth annual Eat Drink HTX, a citywide celebration of food and philanthropy benefiting the Houston Food Bank, one of the largest food banks in the world.
Founded by the late Houston food journalist and philanthropist Cleverley Stone, Eat Drink HTX is the sister event to Houston Restaurant Weeks and was developed specifically for the casual and fast-casual dining sector. With a lower price point than HRW, the event aims to boost traffic at local restaurants during a traditionally slow time of year—right after Valentine’s Day—while raising funds to fight food insecurity in the region.
“Eat Drink HTX was created to boost the restaurant industry, which is typically not as profitable at this time of year,” said Katie Stone, president of The Cleverley Stone Foundation. “The additional benefit is that the Houston Food Bank receives funds that will allow them to serve the many in need here in our community. Truly carrying on the legacy my mother, Cleverley Stone, intended for it and Houston Restaurant Weeks."
During the two-week event, participating restaurants offer curated multi-course brunch, lunch, and dinner menus priced at $15 for lunch or brunch and $25 for dinner. With every meal purchased, $0.50 or $1 is donated to the Houston Food Bank, which serves 18 counties in Southeast Texas through more than 1,600 community partners and programs. These donations help provide millions of nutritious meals to families experiencing food insecurity.
Brian Greene, president and CEO of the Houston Food Bank, praised the initiative: “Eat Drink HTX is a great way for Houstonians to have a great meal while supporting the Houston Food Bank. Funds raised through this event will enable us to source more nutritious food for area families facing food insecurity."
