East Central ISD Offers In-Person Registration Help Ahead of 2026–27 School Year
For East Central ISD families, completing school registration now can help make the first days of the 2026–27 school year a little less stressful.
The district is offering two days of in-person registration assistance for parents and guardians who need help enrolling a new student, updating information for a returning student or completing required forms. Families are encouraged to finish the process by Aug. 3 so their children can be assigned teachers before the district’s Meet the Teacher events begin.
Registration is completed online through the East Central ISD website at ecisd.net/registration, but district staff will be available to guide families who have questions or need hands-on assistance.
East Central ISD Registration Assistance Dates
In-person student registration help will be available on:
Tuesday, July 21
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, July 22
11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The assistance sessions are intended to help families complete registration and submit all required documents before the new school year. Parents should review the district’s registration requirements in advance and bring any information or records needed to complete their child’s enrollment.
Why the Aug. 3 Registration Deadline Matters
East Central ISD is asking families to complete registration and all required forms by Aug. 3. Meeting that deadline helps the district finalize class lists and assign teachers before elementary students attend Meet the Teacher on Aug. 6.
For campuses across the district, early registration also gives administrators a clearer picture of expected enrollment. That information helps schools prepare classrooms, staffing, schedules, transportation and other services students rely on throughout the year.
For parents, completing enrollment before August events means more time to focus on meeting teachers, locating classrooms and helping children feel comfortable about returning to school.
East Central ISD Meet the Teacher Schedule
East Central ISD has also announced several back-to-school events for high school, middle school and elementary students.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
Welcome to the Hive — East Central High School and CAST Lead High School
4 to 6 p.m.
Middle School Meet the Teacher — Legacy and Valor, seventh and eighth grades
5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 5
Middle School Meet the Teacher — Legacy and Valor, sixth grade
5 to 7 p.m.
Middle School Meet the Teacher — Heritage, sixth through eighth grades
5 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 6
Elementary Meet the Teacher
4 to 6 p.m.
These events give students an opportunity to visit their campuses, meet educators and become familiar with their schedules before classes begin. They can be especially helpful for children entering a new school or moving from elementary to middle school.
What East Central ISD Parents Should Do Next
Families who have not completed new or returning student registration should begin the online process as soon as possible. Those who encounter difficulty can attend one of the July registration assistance sessions rather than waiting until the final days before school starts.
Parents should also confirm the Meet the Teacher date that applies to their child’s campus and grade level. Completing registration by Aug. 3 will help ensure students are ready to meet their assigned teachers and begin the school year with fewer last-minute concerns.
