East Central ISD Family Resource Center Brings Free Summer Movie Nights to San Antonio Families
Families across the East Central ISD community have a new opportunity to connect, relax, and make summer memories together thanks to a series of free Family Movie Night events hosted by the East Central ISD Family Resource Center.
The program offers caregivers and students a chance to enjoy popular family films in a welcoming environment while strengthening connections within the East Central ISD community. In addition to the movies, attendees can enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments, making the events an affordable summer activity for local families.
As schools continue looking for ways to support students beyond the classroom, events like these help create opportunities for families to gather, engage with district resources, and build stronger community relationships.
Free Family Movie Nights Scheduled Throughout Summer
The East Central ISD Family Resource Center has planned several movie nights throughout the summer, featuring family-friendly films that appeal to a variety of ages.
The scheduled lineup includes:
- June 23: Zootopia 2
- July 7: Spy Kids
- August 4: Turning Red
The events are designed specifically for caregivers of East Central ISD students and provide a fun, low-cost way for families to spend quality time together during the summer break.
Updated Summer Movie Times
Families planning to attend should note that the June and July movie nights have updated event times.
For the June and July screenings:
- Event hours: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Movie begins at 2:15 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, or other preferred seating to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
