“Singing with a world-renowned group like the Houston Symphony is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these students and they are beyond thrilled to perform in such a wonderful venue,” said Gregory Moore, Jersey Village choir director. “This experience provides invaluable and unmatched experiences for all the students involved. We cannot wait to share this holiday season with so many.”

Said Deidre Douglas, Cypress Falls choir director: “This is a unique opportunity for our students to perform in a beautiful concert hall, experience singing with a professional orchestra, hear outstanding soloists and collaborate with another high school choir in producing fun and enjoyable holiday music.”

Tickets for each concert are available on the Houston Symphony’s website. Lap children are welcomed for free. For those tickets, guests are asked to contact the hall’s Patron Services Center at 713-224-7575

“The Houston Symphony is thrilled to welcome chorus students from Cypress Falls and Jersey Village high schools,” said Allison Conlan, Houston Symphony director of community engagement. “They have been working tremendously hard to prepare for this concert and we can't wait for them to light up Jones Hall on Dec. 17. For the kids in the audience, seeing these high school students perform at such a high level raises their own aspirational goals to be involved in music.”
