Cy-Fair Fire Department Hosts 2025 Holiday Toy Drive: Drop Off New Toys at Local Fire Stations Through December 10
The holiday season is all about giving—and the Cy-Fair Fire Department and Cy-Fair Professional Firefighters Association Local 5248 are inviting Copper Lakes residents to join in that spirit through their 2025 Holiday Toy Drive, running now through December 10.
This annual effort collects new and unwrapped toys to benefit families in the Cy-Fair area, ensuring every child has a reason to smile this Christmas. Whether you’re looking for ways to give back near Cypress, or searching for family-friendly holiday donation drives near Houston, this is a simple and impactful way to make a difference.
“Every toy donated is a gift of joy and a reminder that someone cares,” said Leah Gowin, Director of Marketing & Community Outreach for Cy-Fair Fire Department. “We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up for each other.”

Residents are also encouraged to take a moment to thank our local heroes when dropping off donations—whether through a warm note, baked treats, or just a heartfelt “thank you.” These firefighters not only respond to emergencies but also lift up the community year-round through initiatives like this.
By coming together this December, Cy-Fair neighbors, including Copper Lakes residents, can help ensure every child experiences the magic of the holidays, regardless of their circumstances. One small act of kindness—your donated toy—could be the best gift a child receives this year.
