Cook-Off for a Cause: 15th Annual 3BQ Cook-Off and Car Show to Benefit Bridgeland High School Students

March 20 2024

Prepare your taste buds for mouth-watering goodness at Inframark's 15th Annual 3BQ Cook-Off and Car Show. On Saturday, March 23, 2024, join the community at Oak Meadow Park in Bridgeland from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM to celebrate a day full of flavor, fun, and camaraderie.

There is more to this gathering than just good food and company. This BBQ Cook-Off event serves a noble cause, with all proceeds from BBQ plate sales going directly to the Bridgeland High Athletic Booster Club and Bridgeland FFA. Your purchase will contribute to providing better resources and opportunities for our local students.

Live music will amplify the lively atmosphere. Special musical guests Matt Sebastian and Mike Gilbert, sponsored by Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, will serenade attendees with toe-tapping beats. More than just BBQ and music, the event features a car show, displaying cars, trucks, and motorcycles from multiple decades. Prizes will be up for grabs with 1st-5th place trophies awarded for People’s Favorite.

Kids are in for a treat too, with two bounce houses, face painting, balloon artistry, and free snowcones. A diverse selection of BBQ dishes, sponsored by Cypress Trail Hideout, home of Pappa Charlies Barbeque, will satiate your hunger while a bake sale will take care of dessert and refreshments.

Of course, the spotlight remains on the BBQ. Trophies will be awarded for the best BBQ on the block, with judges stationed in a tent generously sponsored by State Farm Agent Troy Hooper.

Kick-off the event with the Quick Fire Challenge on Friday night, brought to you by Jessica Wiley of JAM Realty Group CB&A.

Stay connected with updates and other information on the event's Facebook page. This is more than just a BBQ cook-off; it's a community celebration of great food, shared passions, and vibrant community spirit. Don't miss out!
