Concert in the Country Set to Return to Magnolia This October
On Saturday, October 21, the 8th annual Concert in the Country benefitting Boots For Troops will return to Show Sports Farm in Magnolia for a weekend of live entertainment and a barbecue cook-off.
Over the past 7 years, Boots For Troops' Concert in the Country has raised over $500,000 for Boots For Troops programs. Based in Tomball, Boots For Troops helps put smiles on the faces of service members all around the world with their custom care package program. Boots For Troops also flies troops home for the holidays and emergency situations, provides military spouse scholarships and sponsors a fully trained service dog. All ticket sales benefit Boots For Troops.
The entertainment lineup for Saturday includes Joe Nichols, Darryl Worley, Bri Bagwell, Scotty Alexander, Casey Chestnutt, David Joseph and Briana Adams, with Chad Cooke Band and Southern Disposition featured on Friday.
Along with the concert, a barbecue cook-off will be held from October 20 through October 21, where contestants will showcase their best fully jointed chicken halves, pork spareribs and brisket.
