Community Volunteer Fire Department Collecting Toys for Local Families
The spirit of giving is alive and well at the Community Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD), where Chief Rudolph’s Toy Drop is officially underway. In partnership with neighboring departments, CVFD is collecting new, unwrapped toys to benefit local children and families this season.
Donations can be dropped off at the CVFD Admin Office at 16003 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083 now through Wednesday, December 13th. All items collected will be distributed through trusted Westside nonprofits, including Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, Katy ISD schools, Katy Christian Ministries, HEB Military Families, and others.

This community-driven effort is a simple but impactful way to share joy during the holidays—and it’s also a great excuse to thank your neighborhood heroes in uniform. While you’re dropping off your gift, consider leaving a note of thanks, some cookies, or even a warm meal for the fire crew.
The Community VFD is proud to join forces with Westlake VFD, Fulshear-Simonton Fire Department, and Willowfork Fire Department to make sure no child in our community goes without a gift this holiday season.
