For three Williamson County students, a classroom-age art opportunity is about to become something much bigger. Their artwork will be printed on the stickers handed to voters during the November 3, 2026 election, giving residents across the county a chance to take home a small piece of creativity from local students. The winning designs come from children and teenagers attending schools in Leander ISD and Liberty Hill ISD, making this year's election a particularly memorable occasion for their families, teachers and school communities.

The Williamson County Elections Department announced the winners of its annual "Future Voter" and "I Voted" sticker design contests during the Williamson County Commissioners Court meeting on October 13. The contests invited elementary, middle and high school students from across the county to put their artistic talents to work on a familiar Election Day tradition. A panel of judges selected the winning designs, which will be distributed to voters on November 3 while supplies last.

Meet the Williamson County Students Whose Artwork Will Appear on Election Stickers

Three students earned first-place honors in their respective age groups. Felicity Ellis, a second grader at Naumann Elementary School in Leander ISD, won the elementary-level "Future Voter" contest. Austin Gerdes, an eighth grader at Santa Rita Ranch Middle School in Liberty Hill ISD, earned first place in the middle school division, while Brinda Morisetty, a senior at Rouse High School in Leander ISD, took the top honor in the high school category.

Nine Young Artists Recognized Across Williamson County

The county also recognized six additional students for their artwork. In the elementary division, Landon Dyer, a fifth grader at Fern Bluff Elementary School in Round Rock ISD, earned second place, while Drake Ellis, a fifth grader at Naumann Elementary School, placed third.

The middle school division saw Santa Rita Ranch Middle School students sweep all three awards, with eighth graders Laasya Priya Addagotla and Isis Alvarez earning second and third place, respectively.

In the high school division, Olivia Bromell, a homeschooled 12th grader, received second place, while Pooja Chidambaram, an 11th grader at Rouse High School, earned third place.

A Familiar Election Day Tradition Gets a Personal Touch

For many voters, receiving an "I Voted" sticker is a small but familiar part of participating in an election. Williamson County's student design contest gives that tradition a local connection while introducing young people to civic participation long before some are old enough to cast a ballot. The elementary-level "Future Voter" category allows younger children to participate, while the middle and high school divisions give older students an opportunity to create artwork tied directly to the voting experience.

For parents and educators, the recognition also provides a chance to celebrate student creativity outside the classroom.

Where to See the Winning Williamson County Election Sticker Designs

Residents can view the winning artwork through the Williamson County Elections Department's official contest webpage, which includes a link to the designs. The stickers will be available to voters during the November 3 election while supplies last, although the county has not guaranteed that every voter will receive one.

For the nine students recognized this year, the contest has turned a creative project into a countywide accomplishment, one that may find its way onto refrigerators, notebooks and keepsake collections throughout Williamson County.

My Neighborhood News will continue sharing local election information and celebrating the students whose accomplishments bring recognition to their schools and communities.
