Another Nine Opens 24/7 Indoor Golf Experience Near The Woodlands in Oak Ridge North

North Houston  /  North Houston
August 31 2026

For golfers around The Woodlands, Oak Ridge North, Shenandoah and Spring, squeezing in a round no longer has to depend on daylight, the weather or even traditional business hours.

Another Nine Oak Ridge North is now officially open along Interstate 45, bringing a 24/7 indoor golf simulator concept to the north Houston area after a soft opening in late July and a public grand opening celebration on Aug. 22, 2026. The company currently lists the location at 26830 I-45, Oak Ridge North, TX 77386, just south of The Woodlands.

The business combines private golf simulator rooms with Trackman technology, self-service access and a format designed as much for an after-work round with friends as for serious practice.

For a part of Montgomery County where golf is already woven into the area's recreational landscape, the concept offers a different way to play — indoors, privately and at virtually any hour.

A $300,000 Build-Out Turned Retail Space Into an Indoor Golf Facility

The Oak Ridge North location had been in the works for months before golfers began stepping into its simulator suites.

A project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Another Nine registered plans for a 2,365-square-foot interior tenant build-out at 26824 I-45 in Oak Ridge North.

The privately funded renovation was estimated at $300,000, with construction scheduled from April 20 through May 29, 2026. According to the state filing, the scope involved converting the interior for a new golf simulator tenant, with no exterior or site work included.

There is a slight address difference between the original construction filing and the address now promoted to customers. The state project was filed as 26824 I-45, while Another Nine's current website lists the operating location as 26830 I-45.

What emerged from that interior renovation is a four-suite operation built around a largely self-service model.

What Golfers Will Find Inside Another Nine Oak Ridge North

Another Nine's concept differs from many traditional indoor driving ranges because golfers are not hitting from open bays beside strangers.

Each group reserves its own private simulator suite, which the company says provides more than 350 square feet of space and can comfortably accommodate roughly four to five guests.

The suites use Trackman iO technology and provide access to more than 350 virtual courses, along with practice modes, ranges, games and detailed shot data that can help golfers analyze their swings.

Each suite also includes seating, a television with a sports package, audio and a mini refrigerator. Outside food and beverages are permitted, and the facility operates as BYOB.

The result is a space that can function differently depending on who walks through the door. A low-handicap golfer can spend an hour studying ball flight and club data. A family can play simulator games together. Friends can book a suite, bring food and watch a game while playing a virtual round.

No membership is required to reserve a suite.

Open 24 Hours a Day — Without a Traditional Front Desk

One of the most distinctive features of Another Nine Oak Ridge North is its operating model.

The indoor golf facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round, and customers handle much of the experience themselves.

Golfers book a private suite online. Before the reservation, they receive a unique access code by text message or email, which allows them to enter the facility and their reserved suite. From there, an on-screen interface guides players through getting started.

That setup makes a 6 a.m. practice session, lunchtime range visit or late-night round possible without waiting for conventional golf-course hours.

It is also particularly suited to the Houston area, where summer heat and thunderstorms can quickly derail outdoor plans.

Another Nine specifically markets the Oak Ridge North facility to golfers from The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Spring and surrounding north Houston communities.

Grand Opening Turned the Golf Suites Into a Community Gathering Place

Although reservations began during a soft opening in late July, Another Nine marked its official arrival with a free, family-friendly grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 22.

The event ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and opened the facility to the broader community for more than just golf.

The celebration included long-drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions using the Trackman simulators, free-play opportunities, raffle prizes and a dedicated children's area featuring Trackman games and cartoons.

The South Montgomery County Fire Department brought a fire truck for families to explore during the event, while Crust Pizza Co. provided food. Rental clubs were also available for visitors who simply wanted to step into a suite and try the technology.

That mix offered residents an introduction to what the business is trying to be: part golf practice facility, part entertainment option and part gathering place.

The Local Owner Is Betting on North Houston's Golf Community

Another Nine identifies David Lobpries as the owner and operator of the Oak Ridge North location.

On the company's local webpage, Lobpries described the idea in distinctly north Houston terms, telling potential customers that golfers dealing with either the heat or I-45 traffic could come inside and play a round while things settled down.

The location is also significant for the company itself.

Another Nine began in 2023 after two fathers went looking for a more convenient way to play golf. The concept grew around the idea of putting the traditional game into a format that could work around jobs, families and busy schedules rather than asking players to carve out half a day for a conventional round.

The Oak Ridge North venue became part of that expansion and is currently listed as one of Another Nine's Houston-area locations, with a second Texas location planned for Cypress.

Membership Is Optional, but Regular Golfers Have Several Choices

Casual visitors can simply book by the hour, with pricing based on the suite rather than the number of people in the group.

For customers planning to play more frequently, Another Nine Oak Ridge North also offers monthly membership options.

The company's current entry-level Starter membership is $99 per month and includes four reservation hours each month, along with discounted additional bookings. Higher tiers provide additional included hours and discounts. Memberships also include benefits such as complimentary club rentals and guest access.

That puts the facility somewhere between a traditional golf membership and an entertainment venue: golfers can make it part of their regular routine, while newcomers can still try a single reservation without making a long-term commitment.

A New Option for Golf Near The Woodlands

Indoor golf has grown partly because simulator technology has moved well beyond simply hitting balls at a projected screen.

Modern systems can track ball speed, launch angle, spin, club path and other measurements while recreating a round on courses hundreds or thousands of miles away. Another Nine's use of Trackman gives local golfers access to that technology without purchasing a home simulator or joining a traditional club.

For residents searching for indoor golf near The Woodlands, golf simulators in Montgomery County, or simply something different to do around Oak Ridge North and Spring, Another Nine now adds another choice along the I-45 corridor.

It also gives beginners a potentially less intimidating entry point. Because suites are private, players who are still learning do not have to practice shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced golfers at an open driving range.

And for experienced players, year-round access means the swing does not necessarily have to go into hibernation because of a rainstorm, a heat advisory or an early sunset.

Another Nine Oak Ridge North Is Now Taking Reservations

Unlike the company's upcoming Cypress location, the Oak Ridge North facility is already open and accepting reservations.

Another Nine currently lists the location at 26830 I-45, Oak Ridge North, TX 77386, with 24/7 access and no membership required.

What began earlier this year as a $300,000 interior renovation has now become a new recreation option for the communities surrounding The Woodlands — one where a golfer can practice before sunrise, meet friends after dinner or decide that 18 holes simply were not enough.

For north Houston golfers, playing "another nine" has become considerably easier.
