Aga’s To Go Opens in Katy, Bringing Houston’s Beloved Indo-Pak Favorites to Grand Parkway and I-10
For Katy residents who have made the drive into Houston for Aga’s grilled goat chops, biryani, curries and sizzling BBQ platters, the trip just got a lot shorter.
Aga’s To Go has officially opened at 102 W Grand Pkwy S Ste 100, Katy, TX 77494, bringing one of the Houston area’s most recognized Indian and Pakistani restaurant brands to a fast-growing part of west Houston. The new location sits near the busy I-10 and Grand Parkway corridor, close to the Katy Costco area that many families already visit for weekly errands, shopping trips and after-work stops.
The Katy restaurant is a 100% to-go concept, built around takeout, phone orders, online ordering and third-party delivery for busy households looking for halal Indian and Pakistani food near Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Richmond and surrounding Grand Parkway communities.
The location began its soft opening Friday, June 26, followed by a grand opening Thursday, July 2. Delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub went live Monday, June 29. Aga’s Katy To Go is open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A Familiar Houston Name Expands West
Aga’s Restaurant & Catering was founded in 2001 and has grown from a small neighborhood restaurant into one of the Houston area’s best-known Indian and Pakistani dining destinations. The restaurant serves 100% Zabiha Halal food and is known for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, generous hospitality and a wide menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Its original full-service restaurant is located at 11842 Wilcrest Drive in Houston, while the new Katy location was designed specifically for carry-out and delivery. That makes it a practical option for family dinners at home, office lunches, weekend gatherings or grabbing dinner after errands near I-10 and Grand Parkway.
Aga’s has also earned major regional and national recognition in recent years. The restaurant was recognized by The New York Times in 2024 for its signature chops and named No. 1 Restaurant by the Houston Chronicle in 2025. The brand also notes it serves more than 1.5 million guests annually.

Permit Details and Location
The Katy project was originally filed as Aga’s Take Out Restaurant - Katy at Grand Crossing Retail - Building 11, located at 102 W. Grand Parkway S., Suite 100. The permit filing listed the project as a tenant build-out of a takeout restaurant with an estimated cost of $350,000 and a total square footage of 4,227 square feet.
The permit showed a start date of January 30, 2026, and a completion date of March 31, 2026, with the scope of work described as a renovation/alteration for a takeout restaurant build-out.
Why This Opening Matters for Katy
Katy’s restaurant scene continues to grow alongside the area’s population, and Aga’s To Go adds an established Houston favorite to one of the city’s busiest retail and commuter areas. For some residents, it brings a familiar taste from Houston closer to home. For others, it may be a first introduction to Indo-Pak dishes such as biryani, karahi, nihari, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, grilled goat chops and falooda.
The opening also says something about Katy’s growth: restaurants that once felt like a Houston-only stop continue to move closer to where families are building their routines along Grand Parkway.
