FOURTH OF JULY PARADE –SAVE THE DATES

The annual Southcreek Fourth of July parade will be held on Monday, July 4th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
This is a fun event and it takes many volunteers to make this event a success.  Volunteering at this event is a great way to get to know your neighbors.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Judith Carey at judith.carey@att.net

POOL HOURS

The Pool Hours for Southcreek are posted at www.copperfield.org, the pools, and on Townsq.

SOUTHCREEK POOL POLICY

This year, all Copperfield Southcreek Village residents will receive one magnetic pool entry card/ household instead of the pool wristbands. This magnetic card will be reactivated each year.   We will no longer be issuing pool wristbands.

Each family has been allotted one card. Family members and guests must be in possession of this card in order to gain entry to the Park Falls and Autumn Laurel pools. For the safety of residents, no one will be allowed to enter the pool area without a working card.

If a resident owes money to the Association, their card will be deactivated. Because it is impossible for you to know who is who, please do not let ANYONE in the pool area without a WORKING card (residents who have not paid their dues may have a deactivated card). If you forget your card, please do not put your neighbors in an awkward position by asking them to let you in the pool area.

Residents may purchase one additional card for their family for $10.00.  If you have questions, need to activate a card or wish to purchase a second card, please call PMG at 713-329-7100.

Pool Rules and Pool Hours are posted on the www.copperfield.org website, Townsq, and posted at each of the pools.  Please observe these rules.

Thank you for your cooperation!

BLOCK CAPTAINS

  • Do you want to know what’s going on in your neighborhood?  BE A BLOCK CAPTAIN
  • Block captains receive emails from the Block Captain Chairman, Bryne Liner.  The emails let you know what’s going on in our neighborhood.
  • We ask that once the Block captains receive an email, they pass the information on to the other neighbors on their street.
  • Being a Block captain requires a relatively small amount of time, but the block captain plays a very important role in our community.
  • If you would like information about who your block captain is or would like to be a block captain, you can contact Bryne Liner at bryneliner@gmail.com.

YARD OF THE MONTH COMPETITION

The DRC will be presenting two homeowners a Yard of the Month Award the first week-end in May, June, July, and August.
Each winner will be presented with a sign to display in their yard for the month and a $25 gift card to Home Depot.
Spend some time working on your yards! Good Luck!

SOUTHCREEK DEED RESTRICTION LETTERS

  • To ensure the aesthetic integrity of Southcreek Village is being maintained, periodic site inspections are performed by PMG each month.
  • If you happen to receive a deed restriction violation notice, please do not ignore it, or disregard it.  It is always best to reach out to the management company right away to let them know either that you have taken care of the violation, have plans to do so, or are unable to do so right away.  Please contact Sabrina Burger at Sburger@pmghouston.com.
  • This communication is important because subsequent letters from the Association can result in additional costs for the homeowner for certified mail fees and even legal fees if the issue persists with no response.
  • Copies of Southcreek Village's governing documents are posted on http://www.Townsq.io and on www.Copperfield.org

HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFF DEPT.

Report any suspicious activity to the Harris County Sheriff’s non-emergency line at 713-221-6000, Option 6. Remember—the patrolling Sheriff’s deputies depend on us as much as we depend on them.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO KEEP OUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE

  1. Keep your eyes and ears open for any suspicious activity in the neighborhood. For example, if you see activity at a neighbor’s house when they would normally be at work, call the Sheriff’s non-emergency number so that this can be investigated.
  2. Lock your vehicles on the street or in your driveway. Burglarized Motor Vehicles are unlocked 98% of the time.
  3. Don’t keep valuables in your car. This includes cell phones, GPS systems, IPODS, etc.  A burglar can smash the window and steal the contents of your car in less than 45 seconds.
  4. Have a neighbor or relative pick up your newspapers, mail, and in general anything around your home that could indicate you are not there.

VACATION WATCH

A Vacation Watch is a service provided by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for citizens residing in the unincorporated areas of Harris County. It includes drive by checks and observation of any lights on or off that are not listed to be on or off. It also includes noting any vehicles that are not listed and making sure that listed vehicles are still there. Citizens may request a Vacation Watch by using following link and completing the on-line form.
