The site, which formerly housed Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen/Any Mini Desserts, marks another exciting chapter for a business that began with a humble cart and grew into a Houston culinary legend.
Founded in 2011 by a sushi chef named Yoyo, the brand began as a $2 hot dog stand in front of a Fiesta grocery store. With persistence, culinary experimentation, and customer feedback, Yoyo developed what would become the city’s most talked-about hotdog. When circumstances forced him to move from his original location, Yoyo took his concept to Midtown, where a loyal fan base—including local law enforcement and late-night crowds—helped turn his food stand into a staple of the city’s casual dining scene.
