Where to Donate Outgrown Clothes Near You
One of the many to-do items on our back-to-school list is buying new clothes for our growing kiddos. To make way for new clothes, worn-out and outgrown clothes often end up in a trash bag or shopping bag with an undetermined destination.
Before you drop off those items at a for-profit resale shop or leave them on the curb for free pickup, consider donating them to a local nonprofit. Many charitable organizations in the area run resale shops of their own, with proceeds going right back into their programs to help your neighbors in need. Are you worried that your items might be too worn out to be reused? Many nonprofits will gladly accept such articles and recycle them for cash! It's a win-win.
Check out this list of nonprofits near you and make plans to drop off your items this week.
